The Cressi Gara Modular Nery Fins are a limited edition, alternative version of the Gara fins from their Freediving Ambassador Guillaume Néry's signature range. Made for the advanced diver, the Nery fins by Cressi offer superior performance and comfort with a compoflex blade and a wider foot pocket.

Cressi was the first manufacturer to use the thermoplastic rubber-palletizing composition and the first to thermofuse in a single element, three materials to improve the transmission of the effort. The need to have a fin that allows the installation of different material blades culminates in the new Gara Modular, which incorporates Cressi's experience in the composition of various materials.

The Cressi Gara Modular Nery is equipped with a high modulus polypropylene blade (2500 MPa), of high reactivity. This is a new model that decreased its thickness from 4 mm to 2 mm, carries reinforcements, which makes the action very progressive, since the first part of the blade is more rigid and the last half more flexible. This new blade makes the flutter smooth and comfortable but highly effective, both for surface swimming and also for situations of great resistance as the ascent from the bottom, or the beginning of descent with adjusted ballast.

The volume of the foot pocket of the Gara Modular has been resized by Cressi after deep anatomical studies, in such a way that the shape and volume is proportional to the size of the foot, when wearing neoprene socks.

The new foot pocket combines two materials, a flexible but inelastic thermoplastic rubber. The entire sole of the foot pocket is intended for the transmission of the whole effort to the end of the blade.

The rest of the foot pocket (gray area) maintains flexibility for optimum comfort. This material has been extended to cover the area of the heel to prevent slipping when walking on a boat or on rocks.

Gara modular’s footpocket is wider than the other Gara fin models. We suggest to use it with neoprene socks in order to have a proper fit. For use without neoprene socks, we recommend to buy one smaller size.
