The Coco Colmic Connection is an innovative binding system by Colmic between braided and nylon lines, without knots . Colmic's system creates a binding that is normally used in Kabura, Inchiku and Jigging techniques. However it can be utilized to connect braided line with nylon in other styles also, such as Trolling.
The packaging includes two cylinders (one made of aluminum and the other of steel) and two dyneema 0.10mm braids, with a special treatment that raises their abrasion resistance. Though you can use the braided line included in the packaging, in practice you can use any braided line you wish.
Colmic states that any braided line under 0.10mm, can be used to make a binding between braided line between 10lbs and 30lbs with nylon up to a maximum of 30lbs. In this case use the aluminum coil. Braided connection over 0.10mm should be used on the coil of steel, to connect braided between 40lbs to 80lbs with nylon up to a maximum of 100lbs.
