Shimano Beastmaster 9000 Electric Reel

The Shimano Beastmaster 9000 is a powerful electric reel, for deep sea fishing, targeting large preys such as Yellowfin Tunas and Amberjacks.

The Beastmaster 9000 combines the new Giga-Max Motor, that provides high torque and high speed, while maximizing durability and a highly durable reinforced gear system. This demonstrates unshakable reeling power and speed when fighting with Amberjacks, Goliath Groupers and Yellowfin Tunas.

One important feature of the Beastmaster Electric Reel is the Raku Raku function. Winding with constant tension, to match the tolerance of the braided line is necessary when anglers use thin line, targeting fish with soft mouths. The Fixed Speed mode, maintains and winds a constant speed regardless of the magnitude of the load applied to the reel. It is effective when anglers want to increase the winding power.

The line capacity of 900m of No.8 PE rated line, is able to handle deep-sea fishing and the weight of the line allows anglers to hold the reel in their hands while fishing.

The product does not contain a lithium battery and to ensure full performance of the reel, Shimano recommends the use of a high-capacity battery (11Ah).

	S A-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano’s A-RB bearings, but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the rotation of the bearing.

	Thermo Adjust Drag is a control function, designed to suppress abnormal heat generation of the drag, to maintain stable drag performance. If the drag slips while the motor of the electric reel is on, the gear will idle and cause an abnormal heat generation in the drag portion of the reel. As a way to suppress excess heat, the speed of the motor is automatically reduced by the Thermo Adjust Drag when the drag begins to slip.
	The e-Exciting Drag Sound is an electronic drag sound from the reel, when a fish makes a run. This creates a modern solution to the mechanical clicker while adding excitement to an angler’s experience.
