The Varivas Light Game Fluorocarbon Shock Leader Ti-F is made from premium grade 100% fluorocarbon material which offers superb abrasion resistance and zero underwater visibility.

This particular variation incorporates a special Tic Coating (Titanium Coating) process, that achieves even higher breaking strain and wear resistance. Coupled with the Varivas’ Super Tough Coating (SP-T) for increased water resistance and durability, you have a winning combination of characteristics, that you will appreciate, especially if you are a Light Rock Fishing enthusiast. At the same time it offers high sensitivity and very low stretch properties for snappy prey.

Due to its ultra thin diameter, the Light Game Shock leader has been designed to help the angler improve the presentation of the lure, reduce tangles, provide an abrasion resistant ‘shock’ link and also dramatically reduce line visibility to weary fish. It represents a top choice for LRF shore anglers who fish with lures. By adding fluorocarbon leader to your braid, you can cut down on tangles, if the lure doubles back onto the line.

The Varivas’ SP-T is a super tough coating with resin film, that covers the surface of the line, reducing water absorption, improving wear resistance and flight distance, and increasing durability.

NON (Non-Stress) Coating

Varivas’ NON (Non-Stress) coating protects better against water absorption, ultraviolet light, saltwater, and friction. This specialized coating also adds strength of the line.

Fluorocarbon Fishing Line

Wear resistant and sensitive, fluorocarbon is commonly used as shock leader.  It has excellent wear resistance when it comes into contact with obstacles. Its high specific gravity make it effective for fishing tackle and lures that require sinking. Although conventional fluorocarbon lacks flexibility, innovations in material and manufacturing methods are now producing a more flexible fluorocarbon.
