The CM-888 is a two-component, warm welding adhesive, for PVC fabrics, inflatable boats and accessories.

Its application requires heating. The CM-888 is a glue developed for PVC inflatable boats and accessories.

Do dry out it requires the addition of Desmodur hardener / catalyst at a ratio of 8-10%.

It is available in 1 Lt tins.

Application Instructions:

  • Treat the surfaces with sandpaper (P80-100) and thoroughly clean with acetone
  • Mix the CM-888 glue with Desmodur RC, or RFE catalyst at a ratio of 8% - 10% (80-100gr/kg) and spread a thin coat on the surfaces to be bonded, without putting them in contact.
  • Wait between 4 and 12 hours for the glue to dry out completely, so you do not feel it to the touch
  • Spread another layer on the PVC materials
  • Wait for 15 to 20 minutes for the solvents to evaporate
  • Expose one, or both surfaces to a source of heat, with a hot air gun (60-70°C) to activate the chemical reaction
  • Put the parts in touch and – if possible – add and maintain pressure to them for 24 hours.
  • Complete cure is accomplished between 24 and 48 hours.
  • Pot Life: 15 - 20 minutes after mixing
