What ever size you choose, the method of making you custom assist hook is the same.
To make the loop.
Cutting a length of hollow braid, depands on your jig length and how long you want the diy assist hooks. Insert the threader tool at Tag B and out almost half way on the whole length.
With the tool end expose, hook Tag A. and pull the tool as suggested above image to form the loop.
Next select you jigging hook (example above using eyeless hook)
Thread the hook as suggested in Step 5, Once the jigging hook is in place, next to secure the hook.
Wrap or bind it with waxless floss, Kevlar line. Apply super glue. When binding, a fly tying wise or small bench wise will help to do a good job. But if you do not have or want to fuss try this method.
