The Mustad Aji Worm Hila Hila 1.7˝ lure has been specially designed to create vibrations and thanks to the size and volume of the tail, it will flutter even during the descending process, without waiting for any command from the tip of our rod.

Mustad, addressing the food frenzy of Guelly Jacks, when they locate herds of offspring, designed and developed the Hila Hila silicone bait, which is the ultimate imitation of small fish. If rigged with a Jighead and fished with intense Twitching, it produces an extremely intense, but steady motion, simulating a fleeing small bait fish, which is an easy target for White Trevally. If combined with a pencil jig head, it will produce a smoother and more harmonious movement, which can excite suspicious and difficult catches, lurking in the lower parts of the water column.

With regards to their action, there are two points to stress. First, the silicone rings, all along its body, produce vibrations that can be detected by nearby fish, while moving. These rings are larger than other similar lures and their cuts are deeper towards the body. Hence they produce a more vivid vibration.

Secondly the “shovel” type of tail resembles a natural tail, moves vividly at every command of our rod, or even by the slightest current, or as it descents in the water column.
