This fixed base is the safest choice for our auxiliary motor, because it avoids the oscillations of the motor in bad weather conditions.

In general when we are able to use a fixed auxiliary base it should be our first choice and only in the case where the height of the boat's transom does not allow us, we should go for an adjustable auxiliary base.

The screws we will need on the transom of the boat are 8mm in diameter.
