SeaCover Protective Cover for Outboard Motors

The SeaCover protective cover for outboard motors is ideal for protecting outboard motors from water, sun and dust. Made from from durable 0.15mm thick Polyester 420D for maximum protection from UV rays.

They are ideal for outboard motors from 2 to 300 horse power and are available in two types:

• Partial Covers that fit only the powerhead (wihout covering the shaft and propeller). These have a cord cord that allows you to wrap it around the powerhead ensuring a snug fit for most motor types. Available in 7 different sizes.
• Full Covers that fit the entire body of the outboard motor. These include a cord and zip in order to ensure the best possible protection of the motor, inclding the shaft and propeller. Available in 3 different sizes.

All the covers are silver colored.

The following table shows all the different sizes that SeaCover are available in. The Horse Power values are merely indicative and should not be the only factor that is taken into account when you choose your cover. The type of motor (two or four stroke), the length of the tiller, the brand of the motor and the manufacturing date are important factors one should take into account as they affect the size of the motor.

In order to choose the correct size for a full cover that matches your motor, you should measure the height, width and length of the motor. Then subtract from the height of the motor, half its width.

For example, if your motor has a height of 210 cm and width of 50 cm then your cover should have the following height:

210 - 25 (50 divided by two) = 185 cm

In which case the correct cover for your motor, in this specific instance, would be Product Code 57331 (since Product Code 57330 will be too small).
