Cressi Rash Guard Long Sleeve

This long-sleeved protective T-shirt by Cressi, is made from special, stretchy material (190 gms / m2) consisting of 92% nylon, 8% spandex. It is drying fast.

The Cressi Rash Guard offers excellent protection from the sun, wind and low temperatures either in the water, or when dry. This long-sleeve rash guard helps protect the torso from equipment abrasion and delivers SPF 40 protection from harmful UV rays. It can be worn as additional layer under the regular wetsuit as an additional layer in cooler water.

The Rash Guard can be used in all kinds of water sports. They are ideal for diving, snorkeling, surfing and other water sports and looks good at the beach. Go snorkeling, swimming, diving or play beach volleyball in the sun They are highly stretchable for comfort and durability.

The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating system measures the UV protection provided by fabric. It is very similar to the SPF rating system used for sunscreens. A garment with a UPF of 50 only allows 1/50th of the UV radiation falling on the surface of the garment to pass through it. In other words, it blocks 49/50ths or 98% of the UV radiation.
