Daiwa BG Black LT Reels

The first reel of the BG series to marry the Light & Tough technology, remains faithful to the original principles of creating a series of robust reels, only it now becomes more compact, manageable and responsive. The Daiwa BG Black LT Spinning reels are so smooth, with digitally cut gears and six ball bearings. Daiwa has redesigned these reels. These reels are powerful, yet priced just right.

The body is built of aluminum, super-resistant and torsion-proof, while the drag system is the powerful Carbon Automatic Tournament Drag: thanks to the carbon discs it is able to maintain excellent performance even in the most critical conditions, since it suffers less from the effects of overheating caused by long and demanding fights. The Digigear II drive is held firmly in place under loading, maintaining a smooth power transfer and winding feel. This is enhanced further by the presence of the graphite Air Rotor. Line release during the fight is also smooth thanks to the ATD with carbon washers.

The variety of sizes available make the BG Black LT a versatile and adoptable product, suitable for different fishing techniques and conditions: in the smaller sizes, it is ideally used in in-shore fishing, both in fresh and seawater, while the medium and large sizes can be used for the most heavy-duty techniques: from bottom fishing, to light drifting, from heavy spinning from the shore, or the boat, to the demanding jigging.
