Daiwa Prorex E Rod

The Prorex Spinning rods range is Daiwa’s most comprehensive series of casting rods, for all predators and reel types and all kinds of modern spin fishing. These, easy to transport two section rods, have X-45 new blanks, fitted with Fuji Fazlite guides and Daiwa V-Joints.

The Prorex E spinning rods form the most comprehensive offer in the market. Their HVF carbon has been wrapped using x45 technology and reinforced with 3DX carbon for a sensation on the bank. They offer power for the cast and fight and sensitivity for feeling and animating the lure.

The action of the Prorex Ε spinning rods is made to meet the demands of modern anglers, who often alternate between soft and hard baits. Daiwa altered the density of the carbon fiber material in the HVF blank in order to develop a light weight rod, with extreme power reserves, resilience, as well as an outstanding bite detection sensitivity.

The X45 carbon fiber construction results in a distortion-proof blank – the rods nearly have no torque, which allows for longer and more precise casts. The patented V-Joint spigot joint supports further the even bending curve and reliably prevents damages. The cross-wrap technology at the blanks’ surface, ensures additional solidity and a special look. The deep blue shining new Fuji Fazlite guides perfectly complete this – within this price segment – outstanding equipment.

Spinning rods from 2.40m onwards are equipped with a Fuji VSS reel seat. These rods are very handy and well-balanced. They have fast action and enormous power reserve within their backbone, to allow you to master every fight.

Daiwa Prorex Technologies

X45: This fabrication process is the superposition of spiral carbon fibers (90 °), unidirectional (0 °) fibers on three layers and two carbon layers laid by two opposing helical windings (45 °). These two additional crosswinds have given the name of Bias Cross Wrap. 

V-Joint: The structure of the V-Joint is a Bias carbon coiled at 45 °. It improves the curvature and the action of the rod to the compression of the blank, during a launch or a fight. The Bias carbon of the V-Joint fitting has a perfect morphological memory and returns to its initial position as soon as the force exerted on the blank ends.

Reduction of the quantity of resin and increase of the degree of adhesion of the carbon fibers during the hot polymerization phase.

Fuji K "Anti-Tagle" rings: frame whose shape avoids entanglements when throwing.  

This form of Fuji reinforcement offers anti-entangling rings that prevent accidental looping of the braid during throws. The crosswind is often responsible for the formation of knots around the first ring that can cause breakage of the line and loss of the leader.

The Fuji K rings correct this problem thanks to an ingenious design of the ring reinforcement.
