The lineup of the Daiwa Over There rods has expanded to include models that address the needs of Heavy Spinning and Shore Jigging enthusiasts, in the Mediterranean. The Daiwa Over There rod family consists of multi-lure casting rods, that combine the long-distance castability of baits such as Diving Pencils and large Poppers, or Metal Jigs, the full control over those lures, the light weight for handling them without fatigue and the tough character required to bring to the shore big fish. When it comes to the target fish… you name it.
In the Over There rods, Daiwa has placed emphasis on strength, by equipping them with powerful blanks, with long casting abilities. The Over There powerful blanks with long casting abilities are surprisingly lightweight, offer fine handling og the lure and long fishing hours without fatigue.
The Daiwa Over There Air is a high-end model, with improved lightness, sensitivity, long casting ability and comfortable handling.
It is supported by numerous, Daiwa rod manufacturing technologies, that enhance its performance, such as the X45 structure, that suppresses twisting and the V-for a smooth joint structure, using lightweight, but high-strength carbon. The Daiwa Over There Air is ideal for metal jigs around 30gr, although its Jigs Casting Weight stands at 10-50 gr. It can also be used with Minnows around 12cm, and small top Plugs.
Ideal for anglers who want to actively explore the coastline, by alternating between metal jigs and lures. Can be combined with an LT4000-C reel.
Daiwa has also equipped it with lightweight, titanium, single foot SiC guides and a highly sensitive, air sensor seat.
They are all slim, so it's easy for people with small hands to grip.

V-Joint
On every rod, the joint is an area of potential stiffness, interrupting the smooth shape of a rods curve. By applying Bias Carbon and V-Joint technology, turning the direction of fibers diagonally, the Daiwa designers have delivered the perfect balance between flex and strength.
HVF Carbon
High Volume Fiber combines less volume of resin, to reduce weight with an increased amount of carbon to deliver more strength.
X45
This manufacturing process involves the placement of carbon fibers in a spiral (90°), unidirectional (0°) distribution, on three layers and two carbon layers laid by two opposing helical winding (45°). These two additional crosswinds have been given the name of Bias Cross Wrap.
