Bassday Kariboso Chibidebu Jigs

When the fish are on, Chibidebu goes off. The Bassday Chibidedu is a short, heavy, square Kariboso jig.

The legendary Ise Bay jig has been reborn through a collaboration between its original creator Kaneo Matsuda and Bassday's Masafumi Kawashima. Designed with fish feeding on sand eel in mind, the Kariboso Chibidebu has minimal action and shows its true colors when adding a snap action to a fast retrieve.

With the right rod work the Bassday Kariboso Chibidebu jig can be made to slide and is also suited for fast horizontal jigging styles. In addition, it is a fast sinking jig, though it has a light feeling action making it easy to use at depths of around 100 meters.

When feeding on small sand eels or ponyfish, fish like sea bass and bream notice jig length. Bassday developed the Chibidebu to be short and fat for deep water and fast currents. The chunky square face is to stabilize the falling position. The basic action to use is a single pitch jerk with a long slow action.
