The Rolling Shaft, situated in the head of the squid jig, gives it the same natural, random movement of a small fish that one finds in artifical baits. The spinning ring protects the fishing line from twisting, since squids normally rotate when hooked.
The specific squid jigs are made from an Aurora fabric which is fluorescent, has a remarkable likeness to fish scales and natural fish colours.
The hooks are appropriately elastic so that they can effectively hook squids and yet be removed with ease.
The sinker is designed in order to avoid entanglement and to increase the movement and balance of the squid jig.
