Yamashita Egi Dropper Squid Jigs

Yamashita is a constantly innovating manufacturer of fishing tackle.

The concept behind the development of the Egi Dropper was to create a uniquely shaped squid jig, that makes it easy for the squid to hold.

At the same time it creates a dancing motion, even with the slightest jerk from our rod.

Yamashita designed the Egi Dropper range, mainly for Light Egging. In this range, an angler will find squid jigs that allow him to adopt to a number of Eging styles, targeting squids from the surface, all the way to the bottom. There are three sizes of Dropper Egis, starting at 1.8, hence Yamashita enables us to interchange squid jigs according to the depth of the target zone.

Yamashita also patented the nose design. It is the thinnest nose available on any of their jigs, but this does not compromise its strength. Instead, it offers the advantage of minimizing water resistance when jerked, which gives the jig more action for less effort.

Other features of the Yamashita Egi Dropper include the large, flat eyes with a glowing edge, double super sharp spikes, a strong eyelet to maintain the jig’s strength and protect against breakage, or leaks and a keel shaped sinker to maintain the balance of this lightweight squid jig.

It also achieves a much longer casting distance, than many other jigs of the same size.

The cloth material sparkles and recreates the feeling of natural scale.

The body of F/RY & F/RW produces a bright glowing effect.

Colors F/RW, F/SDN, F/HML, F/CG, F/P, F/SRP produce a mild fluorescent effect.

Color AT/R does not glow.
