Seaspin Squirty Squid Jigs

Seaspin is well known for the very successful Mommotti lure series. The Squirty is an eging lure, that officially announces the entry of the Seaspin brand into the Eging market.

Seaspin has applied the same philosophy for the development of this squid jig. The Squirty has been designed to serve a purpose and in particular the needs of Mediterranean anglers. In other words it is a practical squid jig developed to deal with local fishing environments and cephalopods.

Squirty is being characterized by a classic design, with clean lines and attention to the smallest details; the entire structure has been designed and shaped to achieve excellent casting distance, a slow sinking rate and a reactive response to jerks. From the silhouette of Squirty, the angler immediately notices a very slender head, a characteristic that allows it to handle the water both during descent and retrieve, as it responds to jerks; the wide back offers a lift to the squid jig, so as to produce - in contrast to the ballast - an excellent balance in all the phases that are relevant during the fishing action. The work is completed by two lateral fins which in the descent phase, give to the Squirty an enticing wobbling. In the back there is a double system of stainless steel hooks which, in addition to contributing to its perfect stability, allow a secure grip even to large cephalopods.

Squirty 3.0 has a “normal” sinking rate that allows it to be used in multiple situations. It is equipped with rattling sound, to increase its catching power and is working well with long jerks that produce a vertical ascent movement, accompanied by side skid motions.

Its overall motion is very attractive, followed by an extremely natural descent to the bottom. Squirty can also respond to more, short pitch, but aggressive jerks, in an effort to provoke the predatory instincts of squids, if they appear to be weary.

Seaspin replicated colors, which are inspired by nature and which we will also find in most of its lures series.

Only color BG-Pink produces a bright glowing effect.
