Yamaga Blanks Seawalk Tairubber 72S (Sensitive)

In 2023, Yamaga Blanks designed and developed the Seawalk Tairubber rod series, to offer a completely new design and concept to Tai Rubber fishing enthusiasts. The Seawalk rod series challenges everything we know about Tai Rubber and offers new possibilities.

There are various fishing methods for the Red Sea Bream, therefore Yamaga Blanks has developed four models that have been carefully selected to match each style and situation, highlighting the individuality of each rod.

The "AT" (Automatic) type that has refined the basic performance of Tai Rubber, as it automatically hooks the fish, just by continuing to retrieve the jig. The "D" (Deep) type is for fishing in complex structures with intensive currents, such as deep waters over 100m. The "S" (Sensitive) type of rods, offer sensitivity and a supple tip, to capture shallow areas and delicately sense small bites, during low fish activity. The "F" (Fast) type, with refined sensitivity, for quickly hooking bites and increasing the reaction speed. Each rod’s blank offers a light feeling, like a light game rod and as an extension of the hand.

The Yamaga Blanks Seawalk Tairubber 72S is a super sensitive rod, released in March 2023, with a tip that combines suppleness, sharpened sensitivity and can capture fine bites.

The Yamaga Blanks Seawalk Tairubber 72S is a rod, targeting Tai Rubber enthusiasts who set the hook delicately and technically, even if the prey is nibbling. It is a sensitive Tyraba model, packed with all the know-how that Yamaga Blanks has acquired with light game rods. It has a lightness and agility that does not make you feel the length of the rod at all and its delicate tip is characterized by such sensitivity that even the smallest bites are detected. At the same time the Yamaga Blanks Seawalk Tairubber 72S passes to the palm of your hand, useful information such as changes in the currents.

This is a sensitive rod that you will use when you are fishing in limited zones, with shallow waters, in which you will encounter tiny bites, or when the current is weak and the line angle is slightly steep. The 72S is a super sensitive model that will allow you to enjoy the Tai Rubber fishing style with finesse gear and light jig heads, but you will also experience the “high repulsive force ” during a fight. The blank of the Seawalk Tairubber 72S will bend nicely and deeply, making use of the full length of the blank, also making the fisherman feel safe with a PE0.4 line, to reduce “noise” from the current.

By constructing the entire rod with a tubular blank, Yamaga Blanks managed to bring the overall weight down to 100g. Yamaga Blanks has also manage to achieve the development of a perfectly balanced rod, which is light and sharp. The finishing of the blank has heavily incorporated elements of YB’s Blue Current series.

The recommended water depth is between 20 and 80 m and can be mounted with a Daiwa, or Shimano baitcasting reel (100 – 200 size). Ideally, this rod performs when fishing up to a depth of 60m, using thin lines and lightweight Tai Rubber jigs. The feeling it conveys with the use of 40g to 60g jigs is outstanding.
