BKK Prisma Darting LRF Jig Head

The BKK Micro Jighead Series has been developed to target small fish, on light tackle. Specifically designed for Rock fishing, it includes three jig head models, featuring different head shapes, for three different swimming patterns: Harpax Darting LRF, Prisma Darting LRF and Punch LRF. Not only is this series designed to cater to saltwater inshore Rock fishing, but it can find application also in Light Spinning for Perch, Zander, Trout, Chub and small Carp.

Darting is quite a new trend in technical soft bait fishing. Jerkbait-type silicone baits come into life, with sharp and constant jerks and twitches that make them dart from place to place and all over, as does a wounded, panicked bait fish. To do that right we need conical shaped, hydrodynamic jig heads with the minimum resistance in the water.

Fish actively feed and, especially in the warmer months of the year, are particularly vulnerable to such presentations. In such a dynamic approach, the innovation of the extra wire grip is vital to the correct presentations in the use of a silicon lure.

Shads usually have two issues: Tails are being cut off, either from smaller fish, or by this big predator that simply bites them off and then runs away. In addition, soft baits tend to slip away from the hook and they get unrigged, due to our jerks and twitches. One hook on the jighead is often not enough and the same goes for LRF, or Spinning. BKK has developed a technical solution to this issue, by adding an extra gripping claw, a made-of-wire baitkeeper, which secure the silicon lure by getting a firm hold.

The Bright Tin coating protects the inner structure of the hook from saltwater corrosion and provides extra glare in the water column when jigging.

A sticky sharp needle point allows for deep and quick penetration.
