Darting is quite a new trend in technical, soft bait fishing. Jerkbait-type silicone baits come into life, with sharp and constant jerks and twitches that make them dart from place to place and all over, as does a wounded, panicked bait fish. To do that right we need conical shaped, hydrodynamic jig heads with the minimum resistance in the water.

The Major Craft Aji-Do Jig Head comes with a very important detail in the middle of the hook, that being a small fluorescent droplet, that is used to lock our silicon lure onto the hook’s body. That deters the lure to slip away, either during our retrieve, or due to small fish nibbling on it.

A sticky sharp needle point allows for deep and quick penetration.

Major Craft used an original hook, with an upward point design that emphasizes hooking. The gape of the hook, is wide so you can rig the silicone lure, without accidentally tearing its body. The open gave also offers another advantage and if the needle tip touches the mouth of fish even a little, you can instantly have a hook up.
