Molix CJM 165 Lure

Deep Spinning is a relatively new fishing style, which gains ground when we are after large and selective fishes. An effective lure tricks the instincts of such species and manages to fool them. In essence, Deep Spinning is a form of Heavy Spinning through which we target Dentex, Amberjacks and other prey of the deep end, through heavy Minnows and Pencils which – contrary to jigs – can swim in a natural, horizontal position as would a Surface Minnow at a lower depth.

If you can estimate the depth, let the Molix CJM sink and retrieve it with Twitches and numerous pauses in between, alternating the retrieval speed. You can maintain the retrieval until the CJM passes through the entire length of the water column, or to increase the frequency of the pauses and reach the lower parts of the water column. Even during pauses we must be alert as the Molix CJM sinks in a seductive way and lures predators. Equip yourself for hard battles with above PE 2.0 braid and 0.40mm or more leader.

The Molix CJM 165 is a hybrid lure, that combines the strengths of a classic metal jig with the realism and the hydrodynamics of a hard bait. The result is a Sinking Lipless Minnow, with a very high specific weight in relation to its dimensions.

This Molix lure is characterized by excellent casting properties, typical of a jig and the motion of a heavy Minnow, or Pencil. The small size of this lure faithfully imitates the size of the forage fish, the main prey of the coastal and offshore predators. This characteristic makes the lure extremely versatile both for inshore and offshore fishing.

The oscillation, while the CJM lure is sinking, combined with the pauses during the retrieval, triggers the attack of predators. The hollow part of the snout, improves its movement both with a steady retrieval, or with strong jerks.
